COVID-19 UPDATE AND ADVISORIES

Here at Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology, we are committed to the health and wellness of our staff and patients in our community. Our providers have devoted their lives to taking care of people, and continue to do so throughout the evolving news and updates about COVID-19. We are actively monitoring the situation, and following the suggested precautions and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and our government, to ensure a safe and healthy environment while continuing to provide care to our patients.

 

TELEHEALTH VIRTUAL VISITS:

Telehealth virtual visits are now available with all of  our RMG providers and clinics! Please call your RMG clinic for details and to set up a virtual appointment using our telehealth services. All you need is a webcam, smart phone or tablet, and you can connect with our providers today! Click here for our step-by-step instructions

 

PROCEDURE INFORMATION:

We are pushing back screening procedures to May & June to comply with the state’s executive order to postpone all elective procedures and surgeries.

LAKEWOOD ENDOSCOPY CENTER & NORTH DENVER ENDOSCOPY CENTERS – performing limited procedures for urgent cases.

AURORA ENDOSCOPY CENTER & ARAPAHOE ENDOSCOPY CENTER – CLOSED through April.

 

BILLING & SCHEDULING: 

Call 303-205-1090 for our business office.

Procedure scheduling (option 1) is available from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. You can also contact us via the website by requesting an appointment from the homepage.

Billing (option 2) is available via phone from 10am-2pm Monday-Friday. Messages will be checked throughout the day.

We are taking the following measures to protect our patients and staff:

  • Implementing additional travel and health screening questions for our patients
  • Placing travel restrictions on all employees
  • Postponing our corporate events and in-person meetings
  • Promoting work-from-home arrangements wherever possible
  • Providing guidance and education, as well as resources and supplies, to our employees within our facilities.

 

During this challenging time, we will continue to monitor the situation, and adjust protocols if necessary. We realize this health situation has already been disruptive, but assure our patients we are still here to assist in their medical needs.
