Patrice Michaletz-Onody, MD

Dr. Michaletz-Onody completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Michaletz-Onody completed her internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK, and did her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Dr. Michaletz-Onody finished her fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.

Dr. Michaletz-Onody has won many awards and honors including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Career Development Award and the Kelsey – Seybold Foundation Grant.

Dr. Michaletz-Onody has been practicing Gastroenterology in the Denver area since 2000. Prior to this, she held positions as Clinical Faculty at the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA, and acted as Chief of Therapeutic Endoscopy Service at the VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. She also served as the Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she stayed on to develop the Interventional Endoscopy Program.

Dr. Michaletz-Onody is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology.

She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
