COVID-19 UPDATE & ADVISORIES
** PLEASE NOTE ** All patients visiting our clinics and procedure centers are required to wear a face mask for the duration of the visit, and will be subject to a temperature check upon entrance to the facility. Patients may not bring additional guests into the facilities.
Here at Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology, we are committed to the health and wellness of our staff and patients in our community. Our providers have devoted their lives to taking care of people, and continue to do so throughout the evolving news and updates about COVID-19. We are actively monitoring the situation, and following the suggested precautions and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and our government. We want to ensure a safe and healthy environment while continuing to provide care to our patients.
RMG UPDATE ON CONSULTATIONS:
Due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services announced the Public Health Emergency (PHE) will be extended for an additional 90 days. This means most insurance carriers will continue coverage for Telehealth virtual visits, however some plans will not. Please contact your insurance provider to confirm your benefits.
Select Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology clinics will continue to offer Telehealth virtual visits, and also remain open to offer in-person visits and consultations, in a safe and controlled environment.

Procedure scheduling (option 1) is available from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. You can also contact us via the website by requesting an appointment from the homepage.
Billing (option 2) is available via phone from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Messages will be checked throughout the day.

We are taking the following measures to protect our patients and staff:
- Implementing additional travel and health screening questions for our patients
- Separating chairs in waiting room to maintain 6-feet distance
- Separating patients in procedure base to adhere to distancing requirements
- Placing travel restrictions on all employees
- Postponing our corporate events and in-person meetings
- Promoting work-from-home arrangements wherever possible
- Providing guidance, education, resources and supplies to our employees within our facilities.
During this challenging time, we will continue to monitor the situation, and adjust protocols if necessary. We realize this health situation has already been disruptive, but assure our patients we are still here to assist in their medical needs.
