Michael Layfield, PA-C

Michael Layfield, MMS, PA-C received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA graduating with Honors. He went on to complete his Physician Assistant degree at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, CO graduating with Honors. Michael also earned his Master’s of Medical Science degree from St. Francis University in Labonte, PA graduating with Honors.

Michael has received many honors and awards including the United States Student Ambassador Award and the Appalachian Trail Through Hiker Award. He has also been a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Society.

Michael maintains memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants and the Appalachian Trail Conference.

Michael is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and with the Drug Enforcement Agency. He is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support.
