RMG Treats Endoscopy with Sclerotherapy in Colorado
This procedure is used to treat esophageal bleeding. It involves the use of an endoscope and the injection of a sclerosing solution into the esophageal varices, which are extremely dilated sub-mucosal veins in the lower third of the esophagus. Sclerotherapy for esophageal varices is the preferred treatment to stop esophageal bleeding and to prevent further incidences of bleeding.
